May 2010 “After my trip to the Philippines I still have the travel bug. I spoke with my friend and long time co-worker Fahmi Farahat and we are going to take Riyadh by storm. We are going to show Saudi how Hollywood makes films and hopefully teach Hollywood how misunderstood that side of the world is.”

Fahmi and I have been long time friends and have talked of and enjoyed the similarities and the differences between Western (American) and Saudi (Middle eastern) culture. We both love to laugh at ourselves at our culture and hopefully WITH other cultures.

1. Its good to be back in the States and
2. When can I get out of here and do some real film work.
3. The experience of traveling 7000 miles from home for work is something I would have kicked myself for not taking.
4. I am grateful I got that chance.

Living in another culture is mind opening and enlightening. I noticed new things about the US while learning about a culturally diverse place such as the Philippines, all without having to sign up for the Peace Corps.”
